The House

Ilkley is a lovely little town, with excellent rail links to Leeds (30 minutes) and Bradford. Busses run up to Skipton and the Dales, and The Dales Way footpath and Riverside Park are a few minutes from the house.
Ilkley has one of the few lidos in the country (as well as a small indoor swimming pool), with a magnificent view up to the famous Cow & Calf rocks on Ilkley Moor, from the grassy area around the pool.
Three supermarkets – Tesco, Booths and M&S Food – are just a 4 minute walk away, as are the bus and rail stations. The town boasts many excellent restaurants including the famous Box Tree and Betty’s, as well as bistros and pubs.
Ilkley has a range of walks advertised, as it Welcomes Walkers. Ilkley Golf Club is a few minutes drive away.
So, if you fancy a short break away (perhaps with a visit to Opera North or the West Yorkshire Playhouse or shopping at Harvey Nichols) maybe Ilkley is your destination!
